Hello, My name is Justin Schamp. I am a New Media Communications major at Oregon State University.
I enrolled into this course to gain a better understanding of media from a journalist perspective. As a media major, I am interested in learning the writing techniques necessary for mass media.
A little about me, I am a musician in a group called F.O.B (Family Of Brothers) we've been performing together for 10 years, within that time, we've toured the country with multiple grammy award winning artist and are currently seeking a songwriting contract with SONY music headquartered in New York City.
In addition, I am an employee at Next Level Media. My job is focused solely on film production both pre and post. Some of the project styles I have been involved with include: Commercials for small businesses, Music videos and Podcasting. I am currently working on a project to travel to Haiti this summer to film a documentary.
As a media specialist, I spend most of my time promoting my music group and media company on all social platforms.
